Jennifer and Brandon | Galveston Wedding Photographer

A few weeks ago I had the privileged of accompanying my friend Katie of Katie Lamb Photography to shoot a wedding with her in Galveston.  After a fun drive down from Dallas to Houston to meet Katie, we had an interesting trip to Galveston including paroling the highway for a Chic Fil A, finding one several exits away and fighting a mess of traffic…we pulled in and it was closed.  Oh yeah, it was a Sunday.  Duh!

I was so excited to see the Ocean (after I had verified, in fact, with Katie that it was indeed an ocean and not a lake…um duh again), but I was even MORE excited to meet Jennnifer our bride.  She is super sweet, super fun, totally gorgeous and a lawyer to boot.  Um, can you say jackpot?

But, you ask, what about the groom? Well he isn’t so bad himself! Brandon is also really fun and handsome, and although he isn’t a lawyer…he’s a cop.  Hah! This fun duo has been dubbed “Law & Order” by their adoring fans. So, if you are ever in a pickle and in trouble with the law….maybe you should try to befriend these two.:)Or maybe you should just stay out of trouble!

Without further ado, here are some photos for you to enjoy from the marriage of law and order (or Jennifer and Brandon):

Weird. I feel like I own all those brushes, and all those lip glosses. I jest, I jest. Only in my dreams. And my dreams for sure would include a professional stylist to come fix my hair every day….it’s a tough job, someone’s got to do it (and I would rather it not be me!)

How cool is that custom hanger that Jennifer snagged? Love!

Jennifer and Brandon decided on doing a First Look to see each other before the wedding.  I took this picture right before Jennifer came down the stairs to show her gorgeous self to her husband to be (in like 1 hour!)

How sweet is his face?? Jennifer you looked stunning and clearly Brandon agreed.  This was too cute!

Jennifer- you are SO PRETTY!:)

This set of photos made me immediately want to go home and beg sweetly/demand that we get a porch swing…um and a porch, and sit on it and gaze adoringly into each others eyes for all the years of our life because while we will get old and grey together at least our eyes will be the same…le sigh. Such a romantic at heart!

Agh! GORGEOUS.  Jennifer- you look like a model!!

The ceremony was held outside at a park and the reception was in this gorgeous building- the Garten Verein.  It has a really cool history and was a gorgeous backdrop for the wedding festivities!

This is one of my favorite photos of the day.  This is Jennifer peeking out the window at the guests and her groom and bridal party all going down the aisle.

I loved every single one of these next photos. After taking some family photos were able to get some amazing shots in the setting sun.  I love backlit photos!

Law and order can definitely dance.  They rocked the dance floor the entire night.

I wouldn’t mind getting arrested if the handcuffs were made out of chocolate.:)That’s not so scary!

Congratulations again Jennifer and Brandon! Thanks so much for letting me be a part of your big day!!:)

Jennifer Claunch - Oh Tania, these pictures turned out absolutely lovely. I love all of them! The candid you caught of us sneaking a smooch in the photo booth is adorable, and of course the one you caught of Brandon breaking it down on the dance floor is too cute. Thank you so much for being a part of our special day, your pictures will help us to remember every detail for the rest of our lives. :)
